Joe Armstrong著「Programming Erlang: Software for a Concurrent World」

　本書はすいすい読める。Erlangは、簡潔・明快でいいですね。
　Erlangもそうですが、Ozもそうだし、HaskellやConcurrent Cleanも、関数
型言語やPrologのユニフィケーション的パターンマッチやらを言語に積極的に
取り入れていて、やはり、ヨーロッパだなあと思います。
　Ozはちょっと文法がごちゃっとした感じはしますけど、Erlangはすっきり。

セイフ・ハリディ, ピーター・ヴァン・ロイ, 羽永洋訳「コンピュータプログ

の手の本を出せそうな機運になってるそうです。＼(^O^)／

　さて、「Programming Erlang」を出しているのは、The Pragmatic
Bookshelfという出版社で、サイトは、

　すごいね。Pragmatic Programmer。すなわち、実践的プログラマ、もっとい

　上記サイトに行くとわかりますが、行ってみてびっくり。ここはいま、Ruby
とRuby on Railsに命をかけてます。ほとんどが、RubyとRails本です。

Chad Fowler著「My Job Went to India: And All I Got Was This Lousy Book
(Pragmatic Programmers)」

　すごいでしょ、これ。「52 Ways to Save Your Job」ですもん。
　IT関係も仕事がどんどんインドにアウトソーシングされていく。どうしたら
生き残れるか。スキルの上げ方、自分の売り込み方などが書いてある本のよう
です。
　日本も他人事じゃないです。^^;
